What we collect
tok-lookup is a lookup tool. When you search for a TikTok username or user ID, that query is sent to our backend only to retrieve public profile data and return it to you. We do not require an account and we do not ask for personal information.
What we store
We do not build profiles of the people you search for, and we do not sell data. Standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) may be retained briefly for security, abuse prevention and rate limiting, then discarded.
Public data only
The tool reads only information that TikTok already makes public. It does not log in to any account or bypass privacy settings.
Third parties
Requests are processed through our own infrastructure. If analytics or advertising are added in future, this policy will be updated to describe them.
