What this TikTok lookup shows you
Paste any handle or numeric ID, and the tool pulls the public details TikTok exposes for that account and lays them out in one clean card:
Profile info
Followers, following, total likes (hearts) and the number of public videos.
TikTok region
The profile region plus, when available, the harder-to-fake locked region.
Permanent user ID
The numeric ID that never changes, so you can find an account even after a rename.
Key dates
When the account was created and when the nickname or username was last changed.
How to look up a TikTok user
- Enter a username or ID. Type or paste the @handle (the @ is optional) or the numeric user ID into the search box.
- Run the lookup. Press Enter or click Look Up. Results usually appear in a second or two.
- Read the card. Info, region, user ID and dates are laid out for you, with a one-click avatar download.
TikTok username vs. user ID: what's the difference?
A username (the @handle) is what people type to find an account, and the owner can change it whenever they like. A user ID is a numeric value TikTok assigns once and never changes.
That difference matters: if someone renames their account, the username search may break, but the user ID still points to the same profile. If you want to keep tabs on an account long-term, save its user ID, not its handle.
How to find a TikTok account's region
TikTok exposes two location signals, and this lookup shows both. The profile region is tied to the account's current settings and can be switched by the user. The locked region reflects where the account was originally registered and is much harder to change.
When both are available we show them side by side, so you can tell a freshly switched profile region from the original one.
Is it legal and safe to use?
Yes. This tool only reads public profile information, the same data anyone can see by visiting the profile on TikTok. It does not log in to any account, bypass privacy settings, or notify the person you searched.
Private accounts will expose only the limited public fields TikTok makes available. We don't store the profiles you look up.
Frequently asked questions
Is this TikTok lookup tool free?
Yes, it's completely free, with no account, login or app install required.
Can I search by user ID instead of username?
Absolutely. Enter either the @username or the numeric user ID. Because the ID is permanent, it keeps working even after a username change.
Will the person know I looked them up?
No. The lookup only reads public profile data; the account owner receives no notification.
Why is the region sometimes unexpected?
The profile region can be changed by the user. The locked region shows where the account was created and is harder to fake, so we display both when they're available.
Does it work on private accounts?
Yes, it works on both public and private accounts. For private accounts, TikTok exposes fewer public fields, so some details may show as unavailable.
